I live in the City of Derby, in the county of Derbyshire, England UK.

My research into the Mayors of Derby started when I found that Wikipedia listed virtually none of the Mayors that had served in the 20th Century, but was fairly complete from 1638 to 1899.

There are mistakes and omissions in the list of Mayors, but hopefully these will be eradicated with the ongoing research.

The MicroComputer has been my main obsession since 1975 when I bought BYTE magazine at an  International News agent on a German railway station, it was not until 1978 I managed to buy a second hand Transam Triton that was built round an Intel 8080.
