I was so impressed with the Tangent Ampster BT II I ordered the Tangent Tuner II. This tuner is DAB+/DAB/FM with stereo phono and Toslink optical output and F-connector aerial input.

It didn’t take long to get the Tangent plugged in and switched on, at which point it did a scan of the available channels and then I was able to have a listen to my favourite channels. I am using an externel FM/DAB aerial as using the supplied internal aerial would not be very good in my electronicly noisy office. First impressions are very favourable, audio is good and operation via the supplied remote is straight forward.

The remote is identical to the remote that came with the amp and controls both units as a single item.

I am almost tempted to buy the CD player to make a complete system, but the current disc spinner plays everything from Blu-rays to CD’s, so this would be a backward step for me.
