Fedora Linux Workstation 37

Finally got round to trying out this distro, all in all a very positive experience. Workstation 37 uses the Gnome desktop, which is a bit spartan looking for my taste, so I installed the KDE desktop, really no problems with this and now I can switch between the two when logging in.

The package management system dnf was quick to pick up and I was able to get Ocaml installed and a switch setup so I could compile Geneweb 7.0 from source, this compiled without errors to my complete surprise.

There is a lot of documentation and help for Fedora on the web which proved extremely helpful.

Although Fedora Linux is bleeding edge, unlike Ubuntu which I have used for while, overall I prefer Fedora.
